TEAM
The role of teams in building an inclusive culture in any organisation cannot be stressed enough.
It is thus that in some teams, small centers of highly inclusive culture emerge and those teams can then function as beacons for the entire organisation. Depending on the role, the visibility and the performance of the team, it can become a more or less strong magnet for other teams as well as for the entire organisation. The highest impact is obtained if the Executive Team decides to become the Ambassador for Inclusive Team Culture. Since this Team is permanent in nature, it can clearly lead the way to Sustainable Inclusive Team Culture for the entire organisation.

Working on developing Inclusive Teams, consists of 5 types of interventions:
- Ensuring Inclusive “Self” Leadership development of the Team members,
- Setting ambitions for the Team itself as Inclusive Team,
- Ensuring Inclusive Team Leadership,
- Build the inclusive processes and mechanisms inside the Team,
- Allow different cultures of the Team Members to bring exceptional value to the Team.

Each team member works on the “Self” as described in the SELF Section and at the same time the Team works on itself as a whole.
- At the start of the Inclusive Team Development intervention, a short description of the Inclusive “Self” Leadership approach is given
- And the Team members are invited to reflect on how to use this approach as a voluntary instrument for self-development.

Setting the Ambitions for an Inclusive Team
- The ambitions of the Team are developed based on the Virtuous Circle* methodology and a relevant ambition is set.
- The Team analyses how diverse it is in its composition, how they will define and measure inclusion, what different starting points exist for each Team Member, what they expect from their Leader and how they define their Purpose as a Team.

Inclusive Team Leadership
The Team Leader will be asked to perform a Self-Assessment and to receive feedback on his Inclusive Leadership style by the Team Members. He will establish a formal Self-Development Plan to be monitored by the Team.

Inclusive Team Building
The team will define and implement a number of inclusive mechanisms so as to ensure the best decisions are taken.

Multi Cultural Teams Leadership
When Teams have Members of highly different cultures, a specific culture awareness building session as well as culture experiencing events will be organised inside the Team life span.
